Are you a detail-driven professional with a passion for risk management and stakeholder engagement? KPMG Jamaica Extended Support Services (JESS) is seeking a Third Party Risk Management (TPRM) Support Officer to join our dynamic team and support KPMG US in maintaining the highest standards of third-party compliance and risk oversight.


Your Role
As a TPRM Support Officer, you will play a critical role in ensuring that KPMG’s third-party entities meet compliance and risk standards throughout their lifecycle. You’ll guide stakeholders through onboarding, due diligence, monitoring, re-certification, and termination processes: ensuring seamless and secure third-party engagements.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute onboarding and clearance processes for third-party entities in line with standard operating procedures.
  • ​Conduct due diligence screenings, gather and review documentation, and secure necessary approvals.
  • ​Maintain accurate records using workflow and case management tools.
  • ​Communicate professionally with internal teams and third parties to ensure timely information exchange.
  • Monitor ongoing validations, including risk assessments and independence evaluations.
  • Deliver training to team members and recommend process improvements.

 


What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • ​Minimum 2 years of experience in risk, compliance, IT, or legal roles, experience with TPRM or eGRC systems is a plus.
  • Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • ​Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • A proactive, self-starting attitude with a commitment to excellence.

Special Conditions

  • JESS uses a hybrid work model, allowing staff to work from home in Jamaica or in the office. Employees must be in the office at least five days per month, with more days possible if required by business needs.
  • You are expected to use KPMG-approved Generative AI tools to support your daily work tasks.
  • Expected to work in a fast-paced team environment.
  • Will be working primarily in a paperless environment and expected to be using information systems for the entire workday to access data or perform activities.
  • May be required to work extended hours periodically or on public holidays.
