Procurement Officer

Supreme Ventures Services Ltd. is seeking to employ a Procurement Officer. In this role, the successful candidate will assist in maintaining systems of internal control over all purchasing and related transactions in accordance with Company policy and procedure.

Job Responsibilities:

• Assist with the implementation and maintenance of internal controls relating to the Company’s procurement of goods and services
• Liaise with internal departments and vendors to carry out inventory transactions
• Obtain relevant vendor quotations to facilitate and inform decision making in respect of the Company’s ordering of goods and services
• Assist in the coordination of requisitions submitted for processing and approval
• Prepare purchase orders in accordance with approved requisitions
• Assist with the processing of invoices received against purchase orders
• Coordinate the approval of invoices for processing
• Assist in periodic inventory counts
• Assist with the review of outstanding purchase orders and prepare month end accruals
• Maintain vendor records
• Manager vendor relationships

Perform other duties as assigned by the Procurement Manager.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Procurement, Finance or a related field.
• Minimum of one-two year’s experience in a related area and/or within a Finance field
• Experience using SAP or Sage 300 is an advantage
