People and Culture Business Partner - Temporary

The People Business Partner (PBP) plays a strategic role within the People & Culture team of a dynamic sales and distribution FMCG organization. The role acts as a trusted advisor to business leaders, driving HR initiatives that support organizational goals, build leadership and workforce capability, and enhance employee experience. 

Major Responsibilities 

  • Partner with business leaders to provide HR guidance that supports operational goals, workforce performance, and employee engagement.
  • Manage employee relations matters including investigations, disciplinary processes, and workplace conflict resolution while ensuring compliance with company policies and labour legislation.
  • Support the delivery of core HR programs such as performance management, onboarding, and talent development initiatives.
  • Provide coaching and guidance to managers on employee management, policy interpretation, and people related decision-making.
  • Contribute to initiatives that strengthen workplace culture, employee engagement, and overall employee experience across the organization.

Academic Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Industrial Relations, Business Administration, or related field. 
  • Minimum of 5 years’ progressive HR experience, including 2+ years in a business partnering or strategic HR role. 
  • Experience handling complex employee relations cases in a corporate or industrial environment. 
  • Proven track record of delivering HR programs and talent development initiatives.
  • Must own and operate a reliable motor vehicle
