It is the responsibility of the People and Culture Events Coordinator to create internal events that contribute to the strengthening of the organizational culture and integration of BDR Hosts.

 Position Purpose

Plan, coordinate and execute internal events to provide exceptional experiences for our employees, promoting their commitment, satisfaction and sense of belonging. This objective will be achieved by facilitating events that foster integration, recognition, as well as personal and professional development of our hosts, complying with the highest quality standards to strengthen the organizational culture of the company

Description of Responsibilities:

  • Develop the Annual Program of social, cultural and sporting events, including meetings, celebrations, quarterly meals, birthdays, seniority awards, and other special events.
  • Manage the budget established for the realization of internal events ensuring efficient use and compliance with company policies.
  • Coordinate the schedule and management of event logistics and resources necessary for the realization of internal events (rooms and spaces, audiovisual equipment, presentation materials, etc.) in order to meet the objectives and requirements, supplies to be carried out on scheduled dates.
  • Make quotations with suppliers for the acquisition of necessary inputs or supplies in compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Develop the program and logistics of events to meet the objectives, requirements, supplies to be carried out on scheduled dates.
  • Design the internal communication for the promotion and diffusion of the events in the internal communication media established by the hotel (Meetings, Briefings, departmental meetings, internal communication boards).
  • Coordinate and collaborate closely with the Kitchen, Banquets, Groups and Weddings departments so that the programmed activities are carried out and complying with the objectives of the established program and budget.
  • Gather feedback from Hosts after each event to evaluate its effectiveness and make necessary adjustments for future events.

Experience:

  • Minimum experience of one year in the position.
  • Knowledge of event organization
  • MS Office skills.

  Education & Certificates:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Hotel Management, or related areas.
