The Salon Operator is responsible for providing high-quality services to his/her customers.  The individual is responsible for performing beauty services related activities based on his/her expertise.

QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE:

ü  NVQJ Level 2 Certification in Beauty Services or the equivalent level or other industry designation in disciplines

ü  At least two (2) years relevant work experience in a comparable position or business/work environment such as: a beauty salon, and formal cosmetology training institute

KEY COMPETENCIES:

ü  Working knowledge of and experience in industry trends

ü  Proficiency with salon equipment and products

ü  Good Customer Service skills

KEY DUTIES:

ü  Delivers consistent competent services and quality customer service

ü  Maintains client records/ data to determine precise client needs and prevent dissatisfaction

ü  Assists with maintaining and recording tools and materials used in the workplace

ü  Participates in cross selling and upscaling products and service

ü  Updates customers on current beauty products and items

ü  Initiates and implements latest techniques and processes in treating customers

ü  Maintains and manages inventory of products and items

ü  Ensures total customer satisfaction through salon services

ü  Washes and sanitizes linens, salon tools and equipment

ü  Keeps current and up to date in your skill area

ü  Exhibits initiative and creativity resulting in improved operating efficiency of the Salon

ü  Promotes positive morale through a congenial, supportive attitude and by providing services to others

ü  Sweeps, sanitizes and disinfects the salon premises on a daily basis
