PRODUCTION SUPERVISOR

• Supervision of production team of plant operators and packaging line crew 
• Monitoring of production processes ensuring quantitative and qualitative targets  are met
• Co-ordination of preventive and corrective actions to control production process 
• Organization of work teams to meet set goals and objectives 
• Creation of a supportive working relationship among team members 
• Competent in Microsoft Office 
• Preparation of routine and special technical and administrative reports. 

Qualification, Competence & Requirements

• 1st degree or equivalent in food chemistry, Process engineering or Operations Management
• Possess  Mechanical and/or Electrical competence to troubleshoot equipment
• 3+ years experience in similar capacity in manufacturing industry
•  Exposure and experience with quality management and food safety systems, ISO, HACCP, etc.
• Flexibility to work rotating 8 - 12 hour shifts, including nights and weekends
• Valid food Handlers permit
• Effective analytical and time management skills
