PRODUCTION ASSISTANT

To support the Production Department through · Data gathering and entries for reports · Yield and Usage variance reconciliation · Auditing of the systems for movement of Raw Materials and Finished Goods · Compilation of reports daily/weekly/monthly

Key Duties

Update/Data Entry in ERP Production Module (AX) as required.

• · Ensure daily production requirements are achieved to meet marketing demands, Plant Analysis.
• · Creates Draft production schedules and prioritizes job-orders for production optimization.
• · The reconciliation and balancing of finished goods produced on a daily basis with the Finance and
• Export departments. This is to include an audit of the systems for recording of and transfers of
• Finished Goods.
• · End Production orders in AX after reports have been completed.
• · Analyse and prepare production reports/documents/status reports as required including work in
• progress reports.
• · Interacts with production managers/supervisors on a daily basis to resolve issues regarding
• production schedule efficiencies.
• · Monitor stock levels required for production targets.
• · Liaise with key stakeholders on production plan issues, concerns or reports.
• · Conduct audit programmes and complete audit reports aligned to with approved schedules so as to
• ensure compliance with established standards and specifications.
• · Utilize supervisors report to enter into Labour Report and Time and Attendance system.
• · Compile information for monthly reports (NPT reconciliation, Usage variance, Throughput) by the end
• of the first week in every month.
• · Report daily on anomalies and errors noticed to Production Planner, Junior Production Analyst and
• Production Manager. These include any system or practice anomalies picked up in the normal day to
• day production of items.
• · Take part in Line Audits to measure and or track performance of Key Material or Line Characteristics.
• This may involve working on one of the designated production shifts apart from regular working
• hours.
