PROJECT PORTFOLIO MANAGEMENT OFFICE (PPMO) PROJECT ANALYST – ANSA McAL Limited

Job Summary

The Project Analyst provides technical leadership, coaching and mentoring on all PPMO tools to all IT Project Managers across ANSA McAL to enable the successful delivery of all IT projects and ensure all project benefits are realized.

GENERAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide project management services for IT projects across the ANSA McAL Group of companies.
• Coach and Mentor the Business on the utilization of the PPMO tools
• Custodian of all PPMO tools and developed templates.
• Provide guidance on the PPMO governance process.
• Establish and maintain proficient partnerships with the relevant project members
• Conduct assessment on Project Success Criteria base on the adoption of the project governance practices (PPMO Assessment)
• Perform other duties as assigned from time to time as directed.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent (in an IT related programme) is required.
• At least 3-5 years’ work experience in IT or related field, with increasing responsibilities for Project Management.
• At least three (3) years demonstrated project management experience in IT.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification would be an asset.

BUSINESS/TECHNICAL SKILLS:

• Experience in successfully using project management tools to execute large scale global projects. Strong understanding of project management principles.
• Has experience in successful project delivery.
• Sound grasp of quality assurance in project deliverables.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Project Professional, and Microsoft Office productivity software.
