Operations Manager (Restaurant)

Are you a dynamic leader with a passion for operational excellence and a drive to deliver exceptional customer experiences? Restaurant Associates Limited is seeking a high-performing Operations Manager – QSR Division to join our leadership team!

About the Role

As the Operations Manager, you will report directly to the General Manager. You will oversee District Managers and Restaurant Managers across multiple locations, driving team performance, operational efficiency, and customer satisfaction while maximizing sales and profitability.

You will be a key contributor to strategic business decisions and will lead with a people-first, results-driven approach to restaurant operations.

Key Responsibilities

Operational Leadership

  • Drive quality and consistency across all restaurant operations, ensuring exceptional guest experiences.
  • Monitor labor costs, cash handling, and inventory management for operational efficiency.
  • Set and execute performance targets for sales, service, and profitability.
  • Lead the implementation of business processes and improvements across the division.

People Development

  • Lead, coach, and mentor a high-performing team of Managers and District Leaders.
  • Deliver onboarding and training programs for new managers.
  • Make staffing and organizational decisions aligned with a people-centered culture.

Strategic Oversight

  • Develop and monitor annual budgets, forecasts, and financial performance.
  • Conduct performance reviews and develop action plans to close performance gaps.
  • Optimize guest satisfaction metrics such as speed of service, food quality, friendliness, and restaurant cleanliness.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Represent the company at local, regional, and international forums.
  • Operations: Oversee safety, security, and effective use of all physical resources.

 Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Hospitality, or related field.
  • Proven leadership experience within the Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) industry.
  • Strong background in P&L management, operations, budgeting, and talent development.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Ability to lead under pressure, prioritize conflicting demands, and make sound business decisions.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Exceptional time management, organizational, and decision-making abilities.
  • Strong leadership, coaching, and performance management skills.
  • Proficient in research, data analysis, and strategic planning.
  • High level of computer literacy and technological adaptability.

Special Requirements

  • Availability for weekends, public holidays, and after-hours work as needed.
  • Must be willing to travel locally and internationally for business.
  • Ability to thrive in high-pressure, fast-paced, dynamic environments.
