Operations Manager

The Private Sector Organisation of Jamaica is looking for a dynamic, analytical, and visionary leader to join our fast-paced, forward-thinking team as:

OPERATIONS MANAGER

Responsibilities include:

  • Lead and manage all day-to-day operational functions across the PSOJ Secretariat.
  • Ensure the organisation’s internal systems, workflows, and processes operate smoothly, efficiently, and consistently.
  • Oversee compliance with legal, regulatory, data protection, and governance requirements.
  • Lead the Organisation’s digitisation journey and develop a comprehensive digital roadmap.
  • Assist in the development of strategies and operational plans for execution towards the Organisation’s goals and visions and implement appropriate operational system and procedures to guide the activities of the Organisation.

Qualifications and Competencies

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Management Studies, Public Policy or related discipline.
  • Master’s Degree would be an asset.
  • Five (5) to seven (7) years’ experience working in Operations, Project Management, Administration or Organizational Management. 
  • Demonstrated experience improving systems, workflows and organizational efficiency.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in modern business technologies and Management Information Systems (MIS) to drive data-informed decision making and operational proficiency
  • Experience with CRM, Project Management tools or workflow tools would be an asset.
  • Experience supervising teams and managing cross-functional operations.
  • Experience in private sector associations, NGOs, or member organisations is an asset.

  • Technological acumen: Tech-forward professional with strong MIS capabilities.
