The operations coordinator provides support by ensuring the effective deployment and coordination of departmental resources.
🔍ROLE OVERVIEW:
•The Operations Coordinator – Completions is responsible for supporting the Business Unit Manager – Completions in coordinating the resources of the department inclusive of materials, equipment and staff.
🎓 EDUCATION:
•BSc. Petroleum Engineering or any other related tertiary field of study.
🧰 EXPERIENCE:
•A minimum of ten (10) years’ experience in Pumping Operations (land / offshore) OR
•At least five (5) years’ experience as a Divisional Engineer / Specialist.
•Experience in a fast-paced, service-oriented environment would be considered an asset.
(Any other suitable combination of education and/or experience will be considered)
📌 KEY RESPONSIBILIITIES:
•Effectively coordinates the operational resources of the department (materials, equipment and staff)
•Ensures and coordinates, in consultation with the Maintenance Department , the maintenance and/or repair of all related tools and equipment and ensures that all equipment is in good working order.
•Assists in ensuring that the department is adequately staffed and that all personnel are properly trained to perform their respective job functions.
•Plays an active role in the life cycle of Work Orders in Maintenance Connection.
•Supervises and coordinates all activities in the yard including water blasting.
•Ensures and verifies proper job preparations and load-outs as required and in keeping with accepted policy and procedure.
•Coordinates and monitors the ordering and procurement of equipment spares and ensures the availability of same as required
