Job Title: Offshore HSE Advisor

Job Summary

We are seeking a proactive and experienced Offshore HSE Advisor to champion health, safety, and environmental excellence across offshore operations. The successful candidate will ensure that all relevant HSE policies, regulations, and procedures are clearly communicated, understood, and effectively implemented by offshore personnel. This role plays a critical part in fostering a proactive safety culture through continuous engagement with offshore teams and on-site compliance verification.

Key Responsibilities

  • Promote and reinforce a proactive HSE culture across offshore operations.
  • Ensure accessibility and understanding of all applicable safety and environmental policies, procedures, and regulations.
  • Conduct in-situ compliance checks and provide guidance to offshore personnel.
  • Collaborate with offshore teams to identify and mitigate HSE risks.
  • Support incident investigations and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Deliver HSE training and awareness programs.
  • Monitor and report on HSE performance metrics and trends.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Proven experience in offshore oil and gas production operations or previous role as an HSE Coordinator (or equivalent).
  • In-depth knowledge of health, safety, and environmental legislation, codes, standards, and best practices relevant to offshore production and drilling.
  • NEBOSH certification, BSc in HSE, or equivalent professional training.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Self-driven, adaptable, and capable of working independently under pressure.
  • Team-oriented with a service-driven mindset and commitment to safety excellence.

  • Lifting and Rigging Training
  • Confined Space Entry Training
  • Third-party Certified Scaffolding Inspection Training
  • Hazardous Communication (HAZCOM)
  • HAZWOPER Training
  • Advanced Firefighting Training
  • Accident & Incident Reporting and Investigation Training

Desirable Assets

  • ISO 14001 or OHSAS 18001 Internal Auditor Training
