NPR Manager (Non-package Revenue Manager)

Job Overview:

The NPR Manager is responsible for leading all non-package programs across Departments. The NPR Manager must have comprehensive knowledge of the operations, including – Spa, Retail, Photo, Special Occasions, Tours systems and procedures. This position includes budget creation, sales creativity, and brand development to work closely with the company to improve the revenues and achieve goals set by the company.

Job Description

  • Interpret Financial Reports and provide expertise on (projected)Revenue vs. Expenses.
  • Use financial plans for spotting trends, measuring productivity, and monitoring progress.
  • Implement ongoing skills training to ensure service standards are upheld.
  • Develop and monitor NPR Goals across departments.
  • Maintain an up-to-date Procedure Manual and ensure compliance.
  • Attend Management meetings and convey all relevant information.
  • Ensure equipment is maintained in good working order for success of any NPR program.
  • Manage inventory effectively, follow purchasing standards; ensure compliance revenue generation and profitability.
  • Develop Marketing Strategy and ensure an image is portrayed.
  • Maintain and update all necessary internal and external signage.
  • Create ongoing in-house promotions and activities to stimulate sales, staff, and customers.
  • Guide business decisions by staying on top of industry trends.
  • Consistently develop and grow NPR through training, tools, and monitoring.
  • Ensure all outlets are staged for maximum buyer impact.
  • Monitor customer satisfaction with surveys, focus groups, and comment cards.
  • Develop and deliver credible, competitive, value-plus service to the customer.
  • Guide staff to become caring problem solvers, cooperative, accommodating, and fair.
  • Maintain fresh, effective programs to retain and grow customer base consistently.
  • Develop and maintain compensation guidelines for customer complaint handling.
  • Follow property specific procedures for handling emergency (e.g., evacuations, medical emergencies, natural disasters).
  • Follow policies and procedures for the safe operation and storage of tools, equipment, and machines.
  • Anticipate guests' service needs, including asking questions of guests to better understand their needs and watching/listening to guest preferences and acting on them whenever possible.
  • Engage guests in conversation regarding their stay, property services, and area attractions/offerings.

Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of experience managing non-package revenue
  • Bachelor’s degree
