Must be able to diagnose, repair and maintain diesel forward vehicles/equipment. Main focus on engines, transmissions, hydraulics / wet line kits and differentials. A strong electrical foundation of trucks is an asset. Must be able to communicate effectively.
Responsibilities
Compliance Standards: The successful candidate should be able to maintain vehicles and equipment in safe working condition, ensuring road worthiness and are safe to operate by drivers and assistants.
Preventative Maintenance: Inspect and schedule maintenance and repairs on truck engines, transmission, brakes, ect. Must be able to maintain a safe, clean and organized work area.
Problem Solving: Must be able to analyze, troubleshoot and repair issues effectively and in a timely manner, also to render emergency roadside assistance.
Team Collaboration: Work closely with Drivers, Fleet Service Supervisor and Dispatcher to schedule regular vehicle maintenance without service disruptions.
