Clarence Thomas Ltd (CTL) is a Retail Store in the BVI is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Marketing Manager to join our team. As a Marketing Manager at CTL, you will play a key role in developing and implementing marketing strategies to drive business growth and expand our customer base.

The Marketing Manager is also responsible for employing a diverse array of marketing techniques and concepts to create innovative methods of engaging with both existing and prospective customers. Additionally, this position involves the upkeep of Clarence Thomas Ltd Home Center’s (CTL) social media platforms, including content creation, production, and posting, all while ensuring that customer needs are addressed to enhance customer satisfaction and implement initiatives aimed at maximizing CTL’s profits.

  1. Performs all tasks as instructed by Operations Manager.
  2. Create and execute marketing plans that align with the CTL’s business objectives and drive sales, customer engagement, and brand awareness.
  3. Manage the development and implementation of advertising and promotions, including print, digital, and in-store promotions. Creates content for radio and video ads as well as television promotion programs.
  4. Manage the CTL’s social media presence, including creating and scheduling posts, responding to customer inquiries and monitoring engagement metrics.
  5. Develop and execute email marketing campaigns to customers, including creating content, managing email lists, and tracking engagement metrics.
  6. Plan and execute in-store evens, including sales, promotions and community events.
  7. Track and analyze marketing metrics, including website traffic, social media engagement, email open rates and sales.  Provide regular reporting, also address questions and concerns.
  8. Identifies and recommends improvements and modifications to existing programs and additional or new marketing strategies and opportunities.
  9. Manage the marketing budget, including developing and tracking expenses, and ensuring that marketing initiatives are aligned with business objectives and all projects are completed on time and on budget.
  10. Develop and maintain CTL’s brand identity, including managing the logo color palette, ad overall visual aesthetic.
  11. Work with cross-functional teams, including the Store, Purchasing, Warehouse and customer service, to ensure that marking initiatives are aligned with business objectives and customer needs.
  12. Maintains current knowledge of online marketing opportunities and trends, web analytics, and SEO techniques developments in the market and identifies needs for products and services and makes recommendations to upper management.
  13. Assists with development of CTL’s website to ensure its efficiency and efficacy.
  14. Gathers and analyzes information to identify new markets and customers, demand for products and services, and efficacy of existing marketing campaigns and strategies.
  15. Conducts market research, sales forecasting, and strategic planning to assess and ensure the sale and profitability of products as well as pricing research and analysis to ensure competitive product and pricing.
  16. Keeps abreast of market trends and developments, identifies the requirements for products and services, and advises upper management regarding the introduction of new products.
  17. Composes, develops, evaluates, and conducts training on marketing activities, strategies, and policies.
  18. Negotiates contracts for services needed to execute marketing strategy.
  19. Travels to trade shows and accompany Senior Management when required.
  20. Performs all other duties as assigned by Senior Management.
  21. Performs all other duties and special projects as assigned and directed by Managing Director/Operations Manager.
