About the Role

The Marketing Manager is responsible for leading the development, implementation, and management of the marketing strategy for an all-inclusive luxury resort. This role will require creative thinking, market research, and strategic planning to enhance the resort’s brand presence and achieve sales goals. The Marketing Manager will work closely with the Director of Sales and Marketing, or designate, to create compelling campaigns and digital strategies that drive brand awareness, guest engagement, and revenue growth.

 

Responsibilities

    • Develop and implement marketing strategies and campaigns that align with the resort's overall business objectives.
    • Work closely with the Director of Sales and Marketing, or designate, to enhance brand positioning and increase market share.
    • Lead the marketing team in the creation and execution of targeted marketing strategies across various channels (online, print, social media, email marketing, and traditional advertising).
    • Ensure consistent branding and messaging across all platforms and communication channels.
    • Develop content, including advertising, digital campaigns, and promotional materials to engage target audiences.
    • Oversee the design and production of marketing materials and collateral.
    • Manage and optimize the resort’s digital marketing strategies (SEO, SEM, social media, email marketing) to increase online visibility and engagement.
    • Monitor social media and digital platforms for trends, customer feedback, and competitive landscape, providing recommendations to the team.
    • Develop and manage partnerships with local and international organizations, influencers, and media outlets to promote the resort.
    • Cultivate relationships with the media and handle public relations, press releases, and any communications with external stakeholders.
    • Create strategies targeted at relevant market segments to achieve budgeted revenues.

 

Education/Experience
  • A bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field is required.

  • Minimum five (5) years of experience in marketing, preferably within the hospitality industry or a related field.

  • Proven experience in managing and executing marketing strategies, including digital marketing, PR, content creation, and social media.

  • Demonstrated leadership experience in managing and developing a team of marketing professionals.

  • Strong understanding of marketing analytics, SEO, SEM, and CRM systems.
