Marketing Executive

The successful candidate will be instrumental in assisting with the development of marketing initiatives, maintaining content calendars, upholding brand standards, analysis of campaign results, and reporting. The Marketing Executive must stay informed about the market, industry trends, and the competitive landscape while helping strategize and implement marketing, branding, and advertising plans.  

Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Support the Director of Sales and Marketing in evaluating and establishing the marketing plan and strategy by setting objectives, creating planning documents, organizing seasonal promotions, and updating calendars.
  • Support the maintenance and development of internal tools, including a photo and asset database, shared drive, tracking platforms, and intranet sites.
  • Communicate campaign objectives, timelines, and deliverables to HODs, and provide instructions for use or promotion.
  • Prepare marketing activity reports and metrics for measuring program success.
  • Support any other duties that may be assigned by the Director of Marketing or his/her designate.
  • Jointly plan and organize corporate client monthly and appreciation rates and events for slow periods.
  • Create and focus on attracting new business.
Qualification and Experience Required:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or relevant industry.
  • 2+ years’ experience in a marketing, advertising, or related field.
  • 1+ years’ experience in the hospitality industry.
  • Computer Skills: Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook).
Specific Skills and Competencies Required:
  • Excellent organizational skills, including the ability to self-direct, take initiative, and manage own workload, prioritize effectively, and work within deadlines.
  • Proven marketing project coordination experience and expertise.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and successful experience in dealing with a range of people, including senior executives.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in both formal and informal situations.  
  • Strong technical and creative acumen with proven ability to leverage both.
  • Laser-focused commitment to quality while demonstrating the drive and motivation to deliver on time and to specification.
