Core Functions
Support the development and execution of the strategic vision for the Consumer and SME segments ensuring alignment with the overall organizational objectives.
Identify and capitalize on market trends, customer insights, and business opportunities to maintain competitiveness and profitability.
Drive the development of innovative products and services tailored to the Consumer and SME segments, ensuring alignment with customer needs and lifecycle stages.
Oversee the execution of new product launches and enhancements to existing offerings, with a focus on quality, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
Monitor the performance of Consumer and SME product portfolios, ensuring alignment with financial and operational goals.
Optimize product parameters, policies, and processes to maximize profitability and market share.
Utilize data-driven insights to evaluate portfolio performance and inform decision-making.
Oversees the management of all digital sales and omni-channel marketing campaigns for loans and deposit products.
Sponsors the digital transformation of the retail distribution network in support of targeted reduction in the ‘cost to serve’ and increased use of digital channels.
Oversees Retail Banking’s capability to constantly drive innovation and ideation; and spot trends in segments and markets in-shore and off-shore, such that the Consumer & SME portfolio owners can adeptly develop right-fit, future-proof financial solutions and implement sales and service strategies that create and sustain value for our customers.
Supports the transition from product-centric selling by investing in capability building for a need-based sales model, ensuring that those involved in selling across the enterprise can effectively identify, offer and close on comprehensive financial solutions based on customer needs and lifecycle stage.
Define and execute the Digital sales strategy for Retail Banking, including:
Providing guidance and strategic direction to Consumer Banking and Digital Sales Manager.
Oversee and manage digital sales results (including multichannel and omnichannel campaigns) for retail products with established digital fulfilment platform and drive initiatives to improve them (e.g. marketing interventions, identifying potential customer journey improvements, and collaborating with other units on product interventions).
Qualifications and Experience
Master’s Degree in Banking, Finance, Business Administration, Management Studies or any other related discipline.
Ten (10) years working experience in a financial institution or comparable to include at least seven (7) years at the management level.
