Maintenance Technician

The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for day-to-day equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, preventive maintenance and repair tasks.

Job Summary

The Maintenance Technician plays a key role in ensuring plant machinery operate at peak performance to support the delivery of high quality beverages to customers. The incumbent will be responsible for optimizing the mechanical and pneumatic reliability of plant machinery to ensure efficiency, safety and operational uptime of the production  processes.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic and basic electrical systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues with urgency and precision.
• Support overhauls, upgrades and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Complete daily work orders, maintenance reports and uphold excellent housekeeping standards.

 Requirements

• Diploma in MEET, EEET, MET or equivalent qualifications
• 2 year Journeyman Certificate.
• A minimum of  2 years experience as a Maintenance Technician in the Manufacturing Industry
• Attention to detail and ability to follow procedures
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Physical fitness and ability to perform manual labor
• Experience in the beverage or manufacturing industry is a plus
