The Technician III is responsible for performing tasks involving the troubleshooting, maintenance, repair, and installation of the company’s equipment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Respond promptly to call-outs to address and resolve equipment malfunctions, minimizing downtime.
Install and commission new equipment and piping systems as required to ensure seamless integration and optimal performance.
Monitor and manage spare parts inventory, ensuring availability for critical equipment.
Supervise contractors during maintenance activities to ensure safety, compliance and quality workmanship.
Conduct duties related to shutdown preparation, to ensure systems and equipment are ready for planned maintenance
Prepare and submit maintenance reports on equipment status, completed tasks, and recommendations for improvement to support operational efficiency and continuous improvement.
Perform housekeeping tasks during and after completing jobs to uphold safety and operational standards.
Log maintenance activities accurately in the CMMS system to track performance and compliance.
Assist the Maintenance Superintendent in specifying new equipment and spare parts for operational enhancements to reduce downtime and support continuous improvement.
Perform any other duties as required to support overall operational goals and ensure organizational success.
