The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for assisting the Maintenance Manager in overseeing the effective and efficient upkeep of the Park, its facilities and equipment.

Maintenance Supervisor

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the supervision and management of the Maintenance team
  • Ensure that all areas are operating in accordance with safety standards and company policies, rules and regulations
  • Ensure that inspections are conducted, and all checklists and logs are completed by staff
  • Maintain daily inspection of facility in tandem with the Manager
  • Troubleshoot and resolve / repair maintenance issues and conduct preventative maintenance activities
  • Review and update preventive maintenance work sheets
  • Assist in inventory exercises
  • Assist in rostering / scheduling of staff
  • Enforce Company and departmental policies and procedures
  • Communicate with Manufacturers, read and understand Manuals as required
  • Perform Opening, Operating and Closing departmental duties
  • Stay updated with all maintenance issues affecting the Park and follow-up to ensure timely resolution  
  • Lead / work on other maintenance projects
  • Any other related duties

 Education and Experience:

  • Minimum of five (5) C.S.E.C. or C.X.C. subjects which should include Mathematics and English
  • Journeyman certification
  • Four (4) years electrical and / or mechanical experience
  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience as a Maintenance Supervisor
  • Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations and practices
  • Any suitable combination of the above

 Skill requirements:

  • Ability to competently use relevant equipment and tools
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Efficient time management
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Must have the ability to effectively multitask

 Other requirements:

  • Must be able to interact well with all team members and guests
  • Must always maintain professionalism
  • Must be able to work with minimal supervision
  • Must assist in keeping the facility clean, safe and well-maintained
  • Must have the ability to lift and/or move 50lbs
  • Must be able to work on a shift system, on weekends and public holidays
