Maintenance Manager
CocoLaPalm Hotel in Negril is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Manager to oversee the upkeep of our small hotel. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supervising daily maintenance operations, ensuring all equipment and the facilities are in top condition, and maintaining a safe environment for guests and staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and perform repairs in electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and general building maintenance.
- Implement and monitor preventative maintenance schedules.
- Supervise a small maintenance team and coordinate external contractors.
- Ensure compliance with, health, safety, and fire regulations.
- Respond promptly to guest and staff maintenance requests.
Requirement:
- 3-5 years experience in maintenance, including supervisory roles.
- Strong technical knowledge in building systems.
- Good leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Flexible to work week-ends, public holidays, and on-call when needed.
