The Maintenance Manager will be responsible for managing all installation, repair, and upkeep of the operations at our company’s facilities. Your duties will include maintaining refrigeration, machinery, planning repair activities and preventative maintenance programs along with developing maintenance standard operating procedures

Responsibilities

• Developing and implementing a comprehensive maintenance program
• Managing and supervising the maintenance team and contractors, ensuring that work is completed efficiently, safely, and in compliance with regulations and industry standards
• Managing the maintenance budget and ensuring that costs are minimized while maintaining high levels of equipment uptime and reliability
• Monitoring equipment performance, identifying trends and issues, and taking corrective action as necessary to ensure high levels of equipment uptime and reliability
• Ensuring that all maintenance activities are conducted in compliance with regulatory requirements, such as health and safety regulations and environmental regulations
• Providing weekly and or monthly reports on maintenance activities, including equipment uptime, maintenance costs, and work order completion rates, to senior management and other stakeholders
• Planning, scheduling, and execution of building maintenance tasks, including cooling, plumbing, electrical, and general maintenance task
• Developing and implementing safety programs to ensure the safety of all staff, contractors, as well as visitors to the facility

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical or electrical engineering, or a related field; master’s degree preferred
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in ammonia refrigeration maintenance, with at least 3 years in a leadership role
• Strong technical skills, with experience working with both freon and ammonia refrigeration systems and related equipment
• Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Strong knowledge of OSHA, and other relevant regulations and standards
• Proficient in the use of maintenance management software and other computer programs
• Strong customer service orientation, with a focus on continuous improvement and operational excellence
