Are you a seasoned maintenance professional with a passion for excellence and a hands-on approach? We are currently seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead the upkeep and repair operations of our exclusive small luxury boutique hotel, located in the heart of the Caribbean.

As our Maintenance Supervisor , you will play a key role in ensuring that the property is maintained to the highest standards, both behind the scenes and in guest-facing areas. This position is ideal for someone with strong technical skills, excellent organizational ability, and a commitment to delivering an outstanding guest experience through flawless facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee all daily maintenance operations across the property, including guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house
• Perform and coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical, plumbing, HVAC, mechanical, and structural systems
• Supervise a small team of maintenance personnel and external contractors as needed
• Conduct routine inspections and identify areas requiring attention or improvement
• Manage maintenance budgets, inventory of tools and supplies, and maintenance records
• Respond promptly to urgent repair needs and support emergency response procedures
• Collaborate closely with hotel management to plan and prioritize maintenance projects

Qualifications & Skills:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a maintenance or engineering leadership role within the hospitality sector or similar environment
• Solid working knowledge of electrical and plumbing systems; certification or technical training in these areas is a strong asset
• Proficiency in using maintenance management software and general computer literacy
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Excellent communication skills and fluency in English (spoken and written)
• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends or holidays when needed

Preferred Qualities:

• A proactive, hands-on attitude with a strong work ethic
• High attention to detail and a commitment to safety and compliance
• Experience in managing small maintenance teams or contractors
• Prior Caribbean or remote location experience is an advantage
