MICE Coordinator needed to join our team.

 

About Us

One of Jamaica's largest 5-star hotel located in Lucea, Jamaica, with other resorts in Mexico, Dominican Republic, Brazil, Spain and Italy. We were named as the Top Employer in Latin America & Jamaica for three consecutive years; 2021, 2022 & 2023. 

We are looking for a results-driven candidate to increase the income of group sales through follow-ups, quotes and closures, always prioritizing service quality.

Qualification and Experience:

  • Sales/Marketing certification or related qualification from a recognized tertiary institution
  • 1-2 years’ hands on sales experience
  • Excellent sales techniques to achieve / exceed set targets
  • Customer orientation and service excellence
  • Excellent interpersonal and sales skills
  • Operational experience in a luxury hotel is an asset
  • Excellent oral and written communication skill
  • Spanish as a second language is required

Main Responsibilities:

  • Be responsible for the timely monitoring of customers by various means of communication (email, telephone etc.)
  • quotation, monitoring, blocking and contract spaces and venues for groups and events.
  • Preparation of contract, proforma and collection of the first deposit.
  • Preparation of the files of the confirmed groups and events and transition them to the hotel coordinators
  • Customer Service
  • Join effort to achieve the established sales objective.
  • Solve doubts or situations that may arises with customers before arriving at the hotel.
  • Schedule and execute site inspections, fam trip, VIP’s and special clients.
  • Listen and report customer needs, giving structured feedback for the constant improvement of operational and sales processes.
  • Occasionally, attendance at specific forum and fairs of the sector.
