The incumbent is expected to coordinate the administrative and data entry functions and provide support to the Department.

Bryden pi Ltd, one of the leading channel-focused distributors of Consumer, Health and Personal Care products in Trinidad and Tobago is on the lookout for the ideal candidate to join our unique family in the position of LOGISTICS CLERK within our Operations Division.

Some Main Responsibilities include: 

  • Attach and/or reference original shipment documents received from the broker to the relevant costing files.
  • Attach Customs receipts to Payment requests.
  • Support Logistics coordinators with scanning files for internal processing.
  • Reconcile department payments on freight, brokerage, DHL and Amerijet accounts fortnightly.
  • Reconcile insurance, truckage and credit card monthly
  • Maintain accurate logs and reference files
  • Coordinate meetings, takes minutes and disseminate information.
  • Monitor office supply and inventory.
  • Manage and disburse petty cash.
  • Reconcile Asycuda account and Petty cash on a weekly basis.
  • Oversee the receipts reconciliation process; follow up with agents and freight forwarders for outstanding documentation.
  • Process Ramps invoices weekly and submit for payment to Accounts.
  • Prepare daily clearance schedule of shipments for distribution to Divisions.
  • Assist department with any administrative functions.

 Qualification, Experience and Requirement: 

  • Five (5) CXC subjects inclusive of English and Mathematics
  • Proficient at Microsoft Office
  • Experience in shipping or brokerage would be an asset.
  • A minimum of two (2) years’ experience in a similar position
  • Or relevant combination of training and experience

 Key Competencies:

  • Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and systems
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Good communication skills
