Lead Inventory Attendant

The Senior Logistics Attendant is responsible for monitoring stock levels and overseeing and generating various stock reports (RICS) to verify distribution and stock inaccuracies.

• Core duties and responsibilities 

• 1. Manage and monitor inventory accuracy through stock analysis, physical counts, reconciliations, and discrepancy reporting.

  2. Coordinate with warehouse management to control stock adjustments, investigate variances, and prevent inventory losses.

  3. Oversee supply chain, storage, dispatch, and transfer operations to ensure efficient warehouse flow and space utilization.

  4. Prepare, maintain, and submit inventory-related reports, including slow-moving items, discrepancies, and month-end reports.

  5. Support branches and stores through stock transfers, stock-taking assistance, and inventory guidance.

  6. Supervise and train inventory staff, delegate duties, and ensure compliance with safety policies and procedures.

  7. Ensure proper handling of non-sellable, damaged, and excess stock, and maintain clean, organized warehouse and transfer areas.

   

• Qulaifications and Experience 

1. Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) or relevant field
2. At least two (2) years experience as an Inventory Coordinator/Inventory Lead
3. Knowledge of RICS will be an asset
4. Excellent organizational and time-management skills

Physical Requirements: 

1. Ability to regularly lift up to 50 pounds
2. Must be able to meet demands of frequent standing, walking, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing and pulling.
3. Must be able to stand for long hours.
