Job Summary

The Restaurant Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the restaurant, ensuring excellent customer service, efficient staff performance, and profitable operations. This role requires strong leadership, operational knowledge, and a passion for hospitality.

 

Key Responsibilities

Operations & Service

* Oversee daily restaurant operations, ensuring smooth service and high customer satisfaction

* Maintain quality standards for food, beverages, cleanliness, and presentation

* Handle customer feedback, complaints, and special requests professionally

Staff Management

* schedule, and supervise restaurant staff

* Motivate and lead the team to deliver exceptional service

* Conduct performance evaluations and manage disciplinary actions when required

Financial Management

* Monitor sales, expenses, and profitability

* Manage cash handling, daily reports, and inventory levels

Health, Safety & Compliance

* Ensure compliance with food safety, health, and sanitation regulations

* Enforce company policies and local labor laws

* Conduct regular inspections to maintain safety and hygiene standards

Inventory & Suppliers

* Manage inventory, ordering, and stock control

* Liaise with suppliers to ensure quality products and timely deliveries

Marketing & Business Growth

* Support promotions, events, and marketing initiatives

* Analyze sales trends and implement strategies to improve revenue

 

Qualifications & Experience

* Diploma or degree in Hospitality Management, Business, or a related field (preferred)

* Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in restaurant or hospitality management

* Strong knowledge of food & beverage operations

* Experience with POS systems and reporting tools

 

Skills & Competencies

* Strong leadership and people-management skills

* Excellent communication and customer service skills

* Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment

* Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities

* Flexible to work shifts, weekends, and holidays

 

Work Environment

* Fast-paced restaurant environment

* Evening, weekend, and holiday shifts required
