Responsible for managing wholesale operations, employees, retail operations, customer relationships, vendor relationships, and financial processes. The Company Manager handles maintenance, operational issues, and workplace safety to create a productive and safe work environment

Responsibilities
  • Oversee and manage overall operations of the Company, including, customer
  • relations, staffing and overall HR related matters, identifying and addressing
  • operational needs, premises repairs, and workspace improvements.
  • Oversee and execute wholesale sales operations, including order execution,
  • delivery routing coordination, and maximizing product listings at wholesale
  • customers across Trinidad and Tobago.
  • Manage and optimize warehouse space allocation for wholesale inventory to
  • ensure efficient picking, storage, and stock rotation.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with wholesale customers, ensuring
  • consistent service levels, issue resolution, and follow-up on listings and orders.
  • Maintain detailed knowledge of wholesale customer product assortments (SKUs
  • carried) and proactively present new SKUs, line extensions, and promotional
  • opportunities to each account.
  • Identify and pursue new wholesale opportunities, including onboarding new stores,
  • distributors, and business leads aligned with the Company’s growth strategy.
  • Oversee and manage customer payments, proactively requesting payments and
  • resolving remittance discrepancies. Record payments into the Company’s sales
  • software, ensuring records are up-to-date. Prepare customer statements as
  • needed.
  • Oversee and account for cash and cheques received. Prepare daily cash and
  • cheque logs, reconcile with retail sales reports, and maintain records for deposits
  • and bank transactions. Safeguard cash on hand and ensure the Company has
  • adequate change for retail store operations. Deposit cash at the bank as needed
  • Manage, coach, and motivate employees toward achieving the organization’s
  • goals.
  • Ensure adequate staffing, staff rotations, and handle vacation requests and
  • absenteeism.
  • Oversee and manage the payroll function, including proper logs, pay slips, records,
  • remittances, and payments. Execute contracts, hiring, terminations, and maintain
  • records of disciplinary actions.
  • Manage and execute the local launch and ongoing operations of the Lotus online
  • store, including product listings, inventory coordination, order fulfillment, customer
  • service processes, and coordination with wholesale and retail operations to ensure
  • seamless execution.
  • Oversee and manage retail store operations, ensuring stock needs are met,
  • issuing payments to vendors, managing vendor relationships, and identifying and
  • onboarding new vendors.
  • Assist with store openings and closings as per the Company’s hours of operation.
  • Manage the maintenance of the Company’s vehicle fleet, including scheduling
  • maintenance and executing repairs to maximize efficiency and minimize downtime.
  • Ensure workplace health and safety compliance.
  • Maintain stock levels for Company, retail, and office supplies.
  • Actively monitor national trends relevant to the Company’s operations.
  • Utilize downtime effectively to address other operational needs.
  • Temporarily assist other lines of work within the Company during reasonable times
  • (busy times, absences, etc.).
 
Requirements and Skills
  • Proven experience in a management or leadership role.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to manage employees and resolve conflicts.
  • Strong understanding of financial and operational processes.
  • Experience with inventory management, retail store operations, and customer
  • relationship management.
  • Physical and mental stamina to oversee various aspects of the business
  • simultaneously.
Salary TTD 16k-TTD18k
