OVERVIEW:

KPMG Jamaica has a delivery center named “Jamaica Extended Support Services (JESS)” operating from Kingston, which is contracted to provide back-office support to its member firm KPMG United States (“the Client”).

JOB SUMMARY:

As part of the Audit Operations team, you will support the deployment and coordination of national learning programs, including National Local Office Training Programs (NLOTPs), Local Office Training Programs (LOTPs), and other firmwide courses. This role involves managing training-related communications, responding to inquiries, ensuring compliance with learning requirements, and overseeing logistics such as training space reservations, material deployment, and course closeout activities. Success in this role requires strong organizational and communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while collaborating with internal teams and leadership.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage the Training Support Team mailbox and all training Audit Operations Portal (AOP) inquiries. Respond to all learning and development related questions from client service delivery and other professionals (related to NLOTP, LOTP or national courses).
  • Support Required Learning System (RLS) monitoring and compliance goals, messaging overdue individuals and escalating to PMLs, LAEPs, and BUPPPs as necessary. Document escalations within RLS.
  • Distribute communications for key learning and development information associated with NLOTPs, LOTPs and national courses. This includes communications on virtual training time, pre-requisite requirements, and required learning compliance messages.
  • Facilitate the successful launch of a training program (NLOTPs, LOTPs, and/or national courses). Drive attendance at live (by sending reminders), in-person training programs to achieve an attendance rate approaching 100%.
  • Support the execution of NLOTPs, LOTPs, and other national training programs. This includes but is not limited to managing the Local Office Training Coordinators, tracking and managing training space requests and reservations, facilitating the deployment of training materials, and overseeing the course close out process.
  • Support the Experienced Hire training and onboarding experience, including training for traditional experienced hires, transfers and returns from rotation to Audit, and seasonal and borrowed resources.
  • Participate in special projects as applicable, supporting the TST Manager and/or Director.
  • Oversee the proper documentation associated with CPE is processed
  • Manage the offshore team and their execution of specific tasks.

    EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university
  • Minimum of three years of recent experience in an administrative support, project coordination or operations role
  • A strong understanding of project management and/or Learning & Development is a plus
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office suite applications including Word, Excel, outlook and PowerPoint
  • Ability to independently manage daily tasks and activities

SPECIAL CONDITIONS

  • Our team is using a hybrid work model, allowing flexibility between working from home in Jamaica and being in the office. Expected to spend a minimum of five days each month in the office, though this number may increase depending on business needs
  • Expected to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Will be working primarily in a paperless environment and expected to responsibly use information systems for the entire workday to access data or perform activities
  • May be required to work extended hours periodically or on public holidays
