The Key Account Manager will be responsible for building and maintaining strong business relationships with key customers to ensure the commercialization of the product range and drive long term value for both the customer and CB Group.

 

Main Function:

The Key Account Manager will be responsible for building and maintaining strong business relationships with key customers to ensure the commercialization of the product range and drive long term value for both the customer and CB Group.


Specific responsibilities include:

    • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with assigned key clients.
    • Understand client needs, objectives, and challenges to offer tailored solutions.
    • Serve as the lead point of contact for all key account management matters.
    • Lead negotiations and close commercial agreements with supermarket chains, wholesale channels to maximize profit and customer retention.
    • Develop and execute the national B2B sales strategy for ham products lines
    • Ensure timely and successful delivery of solutions according to client needs and objectives.
    • Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., sales, marketing, customer care) to meet customer expectations.
    • Monitor and analyze account performance and provide regular updates to leadership.
    • Identify growth opportunities within accounts and develop strategies to expand relationships.
    • Handle client escalations and resolve issues promptly to ensure client satisfaction.
    • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitors, and best practices to identify risks and opportunities.
    • Monitor and achieve sales KPI’s and revenue targets.
    • Develop presentations and execute to key customers.

 

Demonstrated Knowledge, Skills, Experience:

    • BSc degree in Business Administration, Finance, or relevant field
    • At least five (5) years work experience as a Key Account Manager, Sales Account Manager, or relevant role in FCMG.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with an aptitude for building relationships.
    • Competent in the use of MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
