Job Title: Junior Data Reporting Analyst

 

 

Primary Objective of the Job:

  • Support the Commercial Team by facilitating thorough reporting and analysis. Generate informative reports, interpret data to uncover trends, areas for improvement, and opportunities.
  • Additionally, help implement best practices to boost team effectiveness. Promptly report any issues or malpractices to the Management Team.

 

 

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Compile, analyse, and generate regular reports on sales activities, performance metrics, market trends, and customer data, utilizing tools such as MS Excel, SQL, Power BI, KNCAPS and Reported Sales.
  • Generate reports to monitor and evaluate the performance of the Digicel+ Sales Team.
  • Collaborate closely with the sales, operations and commercial teams to understand their reporting needs, ensuring the accurate and timely delivery of reports.
  • Interpret data and provide insights to support the sales and commercial team in identifying trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
  • Promptly report any malpractices or events that may tarnish the company's reputation to the Management Team.
  • Acquire comprehensive knowledge of all support software used for backend processing and data capture. Train Sales Team and key personnel on the utilization of such software.
  • Conduct ad hoc analysis as required, addressing specific queries or requests from the sales team or management.

 

 

 

 

Academic qualifications and experience required for job:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, ICT, Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, Economics, Finance, or a related field.
  • 2-5 years of experience in sales analysis, reporting, or a related field.
  • Experience with data analysis tools and software such as Exce.
  • Experience in interpreting sales data and providing actionable insights to support sales strategies and decision-making.
  • Experience in the use of Power BI, SQL or Python is a plus.

 

 

 

 

Functional Skills:

 

  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Problem-solving abilities and the capacity to work independently.
  • Knowledge of statistical analysis techniques and methodologies.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
