Massy Wood is currently recruiting for a Corrosion/Integrity Specialist with extensive experience in the oil and gas petrochemical industry.

 

Overview / Responsibilites

  • Coordination and management of facility IM campaigns, including planning, execution, reporting, and downtime required for inspections, fabric maintenance, chemicals, etc.
  • Development of relationships with contractors, vendors, partners, and internal stakeholders to enable strong project deliveries and effective problem resolution.
  • Supporting offshore operations, inspection assurance, major projects, and life extension activities.
  • Coordinate provisions with asset personnel for all inspection activities.
  • Supervise subcontractor personnel and third parties while offshore. Ensure that all parties understand the works scope, associated risks and that work is completed and reported as specified in the work scope.

  • Review and where applicable sign acceptance of inspection reports completed by NDT Technicians or 3rd. party personnel, and issue status report/s as required.
  • Interpreting engineering designs and documentation.
  • Ensuring that all hazards associated with the work are addressed in the work packs via the relevant. Risk Assessment system, input from Safety Engineering, and the inclusion of other information to ensure work is implemented to minimize SHE risks.
  • Assist with determining the sequence of work orders, assign trade sets to work order operations, and identify SIMOPS / clashes and opportunities for efficiencies in work utilization.
  • Support ongoing continuous improvement efforts (estimating, planning, scheduling, execution, work instructions, and job safety analysis).
  • Ensure all work is performed in accordance with governing quality and safety management systems.
  • Coordinating with the Materials Controller and Offshore Construction Lead to ensure that all materials are job ready.
  • Liaising with offshore construction team regarding planning and preparation of activities.
  • Offshore travel during campaign planning and execution
  • Communicate Planning and Readiness Requirements.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering. Preference is a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering 
  • Advanced professional-level engineering work 8 years of relevant experience
  • Experience in pressure equipment integrity, maintenance, and inspection
