The QMS Lead is responsible for developing, managing, documenting auditing, and controlling policies and procedures for the entire Construction Sector.
Job Summary:
As a key member of the ANSA McAL Construction- Continuous Excellence (CE) Team, the QMS (Quality Management System) Lead is responsible for developing, managing, documenting auditing, and controlling policies and procedures for the entire Construction Sector. The role will work closely with all internal Functional Units of Operations, Projects & Engineering, Sales & Marketing, Supply Chain, and Finance to successfully launch various CE strategies while understanding the associate servicing needs and approaches for business growth.
Job Description:
Contribute to the creation and implementation of best practice planning, strategy, policies, processes and procedures to aid and improve operational performance.
Regulate, control and improve the quality of all processes throughout the sector.
Manage the audit programme to ensure that all nonconformities raised are effectively corrected and independently verified.
Define, set up and maintain the Sector Document Management System whilst guaranteeing the fulfilment of the requirements defined under ISO 9001:2015 or any other quality standards identified.
Lead continuous improvement efforts, business processes development, and integrated quality management system implementation.
Collaborate with Business Units to identify and map independent/integrated processes and transactions according to QMS standards.
Documents, assess, and defines existing process maps within Business Units to highlight inefficiencies.
Embed a culture of continuous excellence throughout the Sector.
Create, maintain, and audit processes to ensure conformance to company policies and standard operating procedures.
Implement all relevant procedures described in the Quality Management System (QMS)
Lead the team to achieve quality management system targets in accordance with the Sector’s strategic objectives.
Provide and record performance metrics for flagged procedures within Functional Business Units.
Highlights relevant performance measures with processes to rank and prioritize business process re-engineering initiatives.
Monitors changes and improvements within business processes to track measurable results as well as ensuring compliance and adherence.
Participates in Business Process Optimization exercises by assessing, re-defining, and establishing process flows and SOPs (Standard Operating Procedure).
Review all Outsourcing/SLA agreements for all external contractors and submit recommendations to HR.
Contribute to new business initiatives and projects and review and communicate the impact on QMS.
Plan, promote, and organize training activities related to new Standard Routines and reinforcement of existing policies and procedures as per audit results.
Hold quarterly audit performance meetings within the business and with Certification Bodies.
Education and Experience Requirements:
BSc Occupational Safety Health and Environment / Environmental Management/ Engineering/Quality Management.
3 – 5 years’ experience in the related field.
Must be proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook)
