Job Overview

The Group sales manager is in charge of bringing more business to our hotels in order to increase sales. They analyze local markets for potential clients, assess competitor activity, and arrange site visits to initiate new sales.

Job Descriptions:

  • Establishing sales goals for individual sales representatives based on their past performance as well as market conditions.
  • Generate new business, close deals, and increase revenue by cold calling, on-site visits and sales tours, and community networking.
  • Identify new business leads by examining local market trends and competition activities.
  • Establish and grow our market share by developing and maintaining relationships with major groups and catering clients.
  • Supports the director of sales and marketing in preparing the department budget as well as the hotel's overall sales goals and strategy.
  • Conduct yourself as a professional representative of the hotel at various industry trade shows, conferences, and adhere to the guidelines of the budget and marketing plan.
  • Maintaining relationships with current clients to ensure repeat business from existing clients.
  • Developing and implementing marketing strategies to increase awareness of products or services offered by the company.
  • Developing and executing sales campaigns to increase brand awareness among potential customers.
  • Coordinating with marketing staff to develop advertisements, brochures, or other materials that promote the company’s products or services.
  • Organizing and promoting events such as concerts or sporting events in conjunction with a company’s product or service offerings
  • Preparing and submitting reports to management regarding sales results, market trends, and other pertinent details about the company’s performance in different markets
  • Coordinating all aspects of an event including selecting locations, hiring staff, booking entertainment, and developing a budget for the event
  • Working with other departments within the company to ensure that events meet company goals for profitability.

Requirement

  • 5 years’ experience in sales management
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Good communication skills
  • Hotel experience preferred.
Annual salary is US$48,000.00
