Summary/Objectives

To sell a range of Digicel’s products and services to new customers, to enhance customers experience through up-selling and cross-selling to existing customer base.

 

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • To achieve 100% of Target
  • To achieve individual sales targets as laid down and agreed at the beginning of each month.
  • To achieve the required amount of customer contacts on a daily, weekly and monthly basis to ensure that you can achieve your targets through your individual conversion rates.
  • To sell the required mixture of Digicel’s products and services in line with your required targets.
  • To accurately record all prospect information, sales appointments and conversations with customers and associated outcomes (failures and successes) in line with current reporting documents, to sales management on a daily, weekly and monthly basis (or as required).
  • To accurately record customers’ orders and applications for products and services.
  • To accurately record all information and amounts of money/cash taken as deposits from customers and deposited as requested by the company/manager.
  • To provide relevant information and responses to customers' concerns and questions in an honest and business-like manner.
  • To always and at all times conduct yourself in a business-like and professional manner in keeping with an external ambassador of Digicel.

 

Academic qualifications:

  • Minimum of three (3) CXC (Caribbean Examination Council) CSEC subjects inclusive of English Language and a numerical subject 
  • Minimum requirement of intermediate computer skills

Functional Skills:

  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal/ written)
  • Flexible and quick-thinking
  • Previous sales experience, with demonstrated success
  • Sound knowledge of the Internet 
  • Must be customer oriented
  • Ability to rapidly learn new tools and understand customers’ environments
