Job Description:
- Assist the Showroom Manager with the following:
- Opening and closing the Showroom, ensuring adequate security is maintained at all times.
- Receiving and delivering goods in accordance with Company and Group Policy, checking to make sure items are not damaged and in good salable condition.
- Attaining the store sales target on a monthly basis.
- Implement, and monitor sales plans to drive sales and to maximise store profitabilit
- Maintaining stock and ensuring that goods are properly packed.
- Ordering goods as required for the optimum operation of the Showroom.
- Merchandising products.
- Implement, and monitor sales plans to drive sales and to maximise store profitability.
- Ensure that the showroom is always kept clean and price tags updated and displayed on products.
- Maintain product knowledge sessions to provide training to staff.
- Supervise sales staff to secure optimum sales from potential customers. Suggest alternative product options and advise on style and color coordination.
- Handle customers’ complaints and enquiries.
- Ensure all service complaints are received and inputted with follow-ups being conducted as necessary.
- Ensure all Hire Purchase contracts are vetted for accuracy.
- Act as a relief for the Cashier in their absence.
- Assist in the management of cash controls.
- Assist in the management of Inventory.
- Complete stock checks to maintain inventory accuracy.
- Act on behalf of the Manager in his/her absence.
- Perform all duties in conformance with appropriate health, safety, security and environmental and SDL’s policies and procedures.
- Comply with Group’s processes and policies as set out and stated in ANSA McAL Blue Book.
- Perform other related duties as may be required by Management.
Education and Experience Requirements:
- Associate Degree in Business Administration/Management, Marketing or a related field
- Training in Leadership/Supervisory Management would be considered an asset
- A minimum of two (2) years’ of proven sales experience, preferably in the retail environment
- A minimum of one (1) years’ experience in a supervisory capacity
- Proficient in MS Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organisational and interpersonal skills
