Job Title:  Reporting Manager

 

Primary objective of the job:

The role of the Reporting Manager is a key member of the Finance team responsible for delivering the specified duties and responsibilities as outlined below

 

 

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage the lease accounting (IFRS 16) for the market including the regular updating of PowerAPS for changes in contractual terms for leases. Working in conjunction with the market procurement and the Group IFRS teams to clear red flags identified in Nomos (IFRS 16 software).
  • Monitor compliance with IFRS 16 monthly reporting (actuals and budgets).
  • Coordinate the credit Clearance project with the aim to significantly reduce the credit balance in accordance with the audit deadline(November 30,203) ;
  • Opex analysis –Bank charges, Collection fees and other OPEX accounts as assigned;
  • Provide support to the Senior Finance Controller in updating the weekly and Monthly Cashflow forecast;
  • Cash Capex forecasting and comparative analysis of actuals Cash Capex versus budget and forecast.
  • Update the Capex KPI in HFM and Adaptive for actuals, budget and forecast.
  • Work with the Shared Service Centre Capex team to ensure compliance with payroll capitalization policy and timely capitalization of completed projects (supported by the approved completion forms).
  • Support the Senior Financial Controller in developing the Annual Cashflow and Balance Sheet Forecast.
  • Approve payments on the banking platform based on payment proposal from the SSC.
  • Internal and external audit.
  • Any other assigned task.

 

 

Academic Qualifications and Experience Required:

  • Five (5) plus years Finance experience.
  • First Degree in Accounting
  • Masters in Accounting ,MBA or ACCA Certification
  • Five (5) years management experience in a large company managing Balance sheet reconciliations, accounting and Treasury activities.
  • Ability to work in a fast- paced environment and delivering based on Group reporting timetable.
  • Demonstrate the dynamism and drive to deliver reports and data on time and in line with the Group deadlines.
  • Display the analytical rigor in ensuring that reports submitted are of the highest quality.
  • Five (5) years management experience in a large company managing Balance sheet
