Entertainment Coordinator

Job Overview:

To be involved in designing, adapting, improving, and producing fun activities and events.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Learning, memorizing, recording, rehearsing, and performing songs.
• Maintenance of all on property games (table tennis, shuffleboard, chess, and board games etc.)
• Ensure proper maintenance of internet café.
• Promotion and coordinating staff welfare (awards and special events etc.)
• Maintaining a good social media coverage and encouraging trip advisor feedback
• Ensure all day and nighttime activities start on time and delivered to the highest qualities.
• Keep a positive and creative energy around the resort.
• Dine with guests in an appropriate and planned manner.
• Entertain, animate, always socialize and be innovative.
• Maintain a good working relationship with all external performers.
• Maintain proper budget.
• Play a major role in program and creative development for all events (new year’s, Christmas, special holidays etc.)
• Designing, adapting, improving and producing high quality of the evening programs, theme days, opening and closing programs, parties and other entertainment
• Complete daily guest feedback report and submit information to Manager.
• Ensuring the entertainment programs are fun, engaging and challenging for the participants and that they meet the aims and objectives of Therapeutic Recreation
• Ensuring that the entertainment program is age appropriate and challenging for the individual and for the group.
• To be respectful, motivate and assist other team members where required.

Requirements:

• Can work well under pressure in a fast-paced operation.
• Strong guest service orientation
• Can work independently and prioritize responsibilities.
• Team player – works well with and supports team colleagues.
• Basic First Aid
• 2-3 years entertainment experience
