Gather, analyze, and interpret market data and intelligence complying with ANSA McAL policies, procedures, and guidelines to support the decision making for business opportunities for the Sector.

 

 

Job Description:

  • Conduct in-depth market research to understand the industry landscape, including market size, growth opportunities, and new and emerging trends to make recommendations for new pursuits.
  • Monitor and analyze competitor activities including product offerings, pricing, market size and strategies to prepare defensive or offensive strategies.
  • Gather and analyze customer trends, preferences, requirements, and feedback through surveys, focus groups, and other research methods, to ensure the decision makers adequately understand the customers’ needs.
  • Collect and analyze market insights and intelligence for the industry from various sources including market reports, industry publications, import and export reports from government and local agencies – locally, regionally, and globally, to ensure we understand our share of market.
  • Prepare reports and presentations on market trends, industry developments and competitive analysis for effective decision making.
  • Identify potential risks/opportunities based on industry trends and market intelligence and provide strategic recommendations to optimize their impact on the relevant business.
  • Develop market forecasts based on historical data, market trends and industry projects, identify areas of risk and opportunity to ensure the Sector is well prepared for future events.
  • Develop and execute marketing initiatives for innovation projects in collaboration with the relevant marketing manager for the business to ensure effective implementation of innovation project.
  • Performs all other relevant duties as required to ensure optimum operation of the business.

 

 

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • Undergraduate Degree in Marketing, or another related field
  • 1- 3 years’ experience in a similar position
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Communication Skills
  • Interpersonal skills
  • Organizational Skills
  • Customer-focused
