To support the Production Shift Supervisor in key activities related to the achievement and reconciliation of the production schedule in the most efficient & cost-effective manner.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Responsible for maintenance of records regarding inspections of process lines, pre and post cleaning and sanitation.
2. Identifies and Reports Food Safety and Quality issues to the Quality Assurance Manager. 
3. Assists in the organisation of labour and the start-up of the plant on the 6-2 and 2-10 shifts.
4. Assists in the training of new employees.
5. Ensures packaging and processing equipment are in operation at all times.
6. Requisition raw and packaging materials for any abnormal circumstance (change in schedule, material defect etc)
7. Assists in maintaining a high level of cleanliness in all areas of the plant.
8. Assists supervisors in ensuring that all waste are weighed, reported, documented and disposed off.
9. Accurately completes Hand Over Sheet detailing shift activities and efficiencies.
10. Plays an active role in safeguarding health and safety of the workplace.
11. Instruct employees to follow safe work procedures.
12. Enforces health and safety regulations.
13. Reports accidents and corrects as necessary, unsafe acts and unsafe conditions.
14. Ensures that only authorized, adequately trained workers operate equipment.
15. Promotes safety awareness in workers.
16. Ensures returns (raw material and packaging material) are prepped physically for return and placed in allocated staging
      area.
17. Checks and verifies that proper documentation of finished goods are transferred in accordance with procedure.
QUALIFICATIONS/ EXPERIENCE
- At least three (3) years’ experience in a manufacturing industry within production operations.
- Five (5) O’level passes & Minimum three (3) years experience in a similar capacity
- Diploma in Chemical Engineering OR Diploma in Process Engineering OR Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
