Primary objective of the job: 

 

To drive advertising sales revenue from Trend Media’s advertising suite of products and services by identifying new opportunities from new customers while upselling existing customers. Responsible for building, strengthen and securing strong customer relationships and consistently growing the clientele.

 

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

 

  • Responsible for all sales activities and sales results within your portfolio
  • Operate as the lead point of contact for any and all matters specific to your customers
  • Ownership of an assigned percentage revenue target for Jamaica
  • Develop a trusted advisor relationship with key accounts. Building and extend our relationships with key corporate clients, advertising agencies & potential prospects
  • Responsible for management of your client’s debt portfolio
  • Ensure that the business objectives are supported with the right sales strategy
  • Deliver executive presentations, case studies and other relevant content to better engage customers and accelerate business growth
  • Identify and grow opportunities and collaborate with internal teams to ensure growth attainment
  • Ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs and objectives
  • Track and manage sales pipeline in order to exceed revenue targets
  • Communicate clearly the sales progress of monthly/quarterly targets. Produce monthly revenue forecast based on sales pipeline
  • Provide world-class customer service, responding to general and specialized client requests, including billing inquiries, campaign inquiries, reports and advertising issues
  • Work cross functionally to develop new advertising opportunities that meet customers’ needs
  • Assist with high severity requests or issue escalations as needed
  • Engage in highly effective, social activity to strengthen relationships and contact networks

 

Academic Qualifications and Experience Required:

 

  • First (1st) degree in Business, Marketing or equivalent professional qualification
  • 3 years’ experience in sales, B2B sales is a plus
  • Proficiency and knowledge of CRM software and MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.)
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Experience in advertising and digital media sales would be considered a valuable
  • A proven record of delivering customer focused proposals with clear revenue goals
