Warehouse Supervisor, Alston’s Marketing Company

Job Summary:

The Warehouse Supervisor will assist in supervising Warehouse Attendants and staff to ensure that products received/selected are checked, stored, loaded and dispatched safely and that proper records are maintained at all times.

Job Description:

• To receive incoming goods from trucks and containers.
• To prepare bonds for delivery and arrange transport.
• To check and verify goods leaving the warehouse on delivery vehicles.
• To receive returned goods.
• To check cash books, review invoices and match blue with pink copies.
• To prepare alcohol permits and update alcohol stock book.
• To attend to customers with over-the-counter deliveries.
• To prepare salaries for weekly and daily paid workers and truckers.
• To assist with stock checks.
•  To supervise Forklift Operators/Warehouse Attendants.
• Any other related duties requested by management.

Education and Experience Requirements:

• Must possess 5 CXC O’Levels and a minimum of five (5) years’ experience in a similar environment.
• Must have supervisory experience.
• Must be physically able to regularly lift and/or move up 25 pounds, frequently and/or move up to 100 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move more than 100 pounds.
• Must be competent in handling materials in a busy environment.
