Job overview:

We are looking for a talented chef de partie to help our culinary team create memorable meals for our resort.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Setting up workstations with all needed ingredients and cooking equipment
• Preparing ingredients to use in cooking (chopping and peeling vegetables, cutting meat etc.)
• Cooking food in various utensils or grillers
• Working with the Head Chef and the kitchen team to maintain high standards in the quality of food both as it relates to its preparation and its presentation.
• Working in all areas of the kitchen depending on the daily needs of Head Chef.
• To observe all Company Food Hygiene and Health and Safety policy
• To assist the Head Chef, to check the completeness of all food and kitchen equipment sent to each function.
• To set out, maintain and monitor high standards of cooking and presentation.
• To be aware of current food trends regarding presentation and style and help with new menu ideas and menu design.
• Ensuring the venue kitchen is left spotlessly clean and tidy and that all equipment and unused food is packed ready for transportation.
• Other duties assigned.

Qualification:

• 2-3 years of experience
• Culinary certification
