Salary: TT$5,500 to $6,000

Job Description:

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITES:

• Carries out diagnostic action on faulty items so as to determine the fault.
• Reads schematic diagrams, repairs/rectifies faults and carries out repairs utilizing authorised technical methods.
• Prepares service requests, reporting technical repair information.
• Liaises with the Assistant Technical Service Manager on all concerns and queries.
• Repairs all products as per training capabilities.
• Provides technical reports to supervisory and/or management team where necessary for communication to suppliers.
• Provides technical support for other technicians where necessary.
• Performs any other related duties that may be assigned to you.

JOB SPECIFICATION:

QUALIFICATIONS / EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• Technician’s Diploma or related discipline to repair brown goods, electronics or white goods.
• Technical Certification in relevant field.
• Minimum of five (5) GCE/CXC/CSEC Ordinary level passes including Mathematics and English.
• Minimum of three (3) relevant years’ working experience repairing appliances and/or electronics.
