Identify, plan, organize, evaluate, and facilitate learning and development initiatives consistent with the Ansa McAl Group policies, processes, and standards and with best practice to ensure that the capabilities of individuals and teams within the sector can support the organization’s strategic plans/ goals.

 

 

Job Description:

  • Partner with cross-functional departments and relevant human resource management teams to determine business needs and develop subsequent programmes, working innovatively with internal and external partners to enhance the learning and development platform.
  • Design, develop, deliver, and assess integrated learning and development solutions to meet the development goals of the organization and demonstrate success of training delivery, monitoring Return on Investments.
  • Coordinate, build and monitor individual plans such as but not limited to 9 box implementation model for identifying participants, succession calibration, personal development, team development, deliverables, and progression reporting to ensure that the leadership pipeline in the organization is maintained consistent with Sector goals and is in alignment with the strategy of the organization.
  • Prepare, monitor, and report on the learning and development budget to ensure that allocated funds are used in a manner that adds value to the company.
  • Assist in managing and maintaining the LMS (Learning Management System) portal (Construction Sector University), ensuring that all relevant learning curriculum are updated in a timely manner.
  • Ensure that all Sector University communication and engagement plans are current and effective. Encourage high user traffic by working closely with line managers and HR supports to build employee engagement which would help in the success of the Construction Sector University so that it ensures it fulfils the strategic intent of the sector.
  • Maintains all learning and development records to assist in the classification of employees according to their skill.

 

 

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • Degree in Human Resources or Business Management
  • Master’s degree in business administration (MBA) or similar field will be an asset.
  • At least three (3) years’ HR experience/training experience
  • Former experience with training facilitation in a corporate environment
  • Experience in managing an LMS platform and creating learner dashboards.
  • Excellent Written and Oral communication skills.
  • Problem Solving Skills.
  • Working in a Unionized Environment.
  • Basic training in Industrial Relations
  • Supervisory Management
  • Strong IT skills, ability to use the computer and business-related applications (MS office)
