IT/Network Technician

Location: St James

Salary:TT$6,000 Negotiable

Employment type: Permanent

Working Hours: 8:30AM – 5:00PM

After Hours/Weekend: Emergencies Only

Individual requirements: (Valid Driver’s Permit, Working Vehicle)

Responsibilities:

• Installing network hardware components, computers, and network cables
• Installing security cameras
• Configuring network hardware and software
• Identifying and eliminating bottlenecks to ensure long-term network efficiency
• Troubleshooting and resolving issues with computers, computer hardware and, networks
• Ensuring clients’ networks operate securely
• Providing technical support to end users
• Collaborating with other members of the IT team and management
• Performing necessary upgrades to the network infrastructure as needed

Requirements:

• Working knowledge of personal computers, networks, security cameras, phone systems, and alarm systems
• Degree in computer science, information systems, or related field
• Previous experience in a similar role
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
• Superior knowledge of various networking technologies
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Aptitude for customer support

• IP/PBX Experience
