These roles play an important part in the Production Department by delivering value to our customers and stakeholders.
Principal Responsibilities:
· Assists in the timely and sanitary preparation of fruit, vegetables, and other food items in adherence with company guidelines and food and safety quality standards.
· Follows accurately the VPS (Variable Production Schedule) with quantities to be produced.
· Assembles airline food in the appropriate quantities, places on meal trays and loads into airline containers to the required standards.
· Maintains the highest standard of cleanliness and sanitation of equipment and workstations.
· Collaborates with and assists in the preparation, distribution, and assembly of meals, as required.
Qualifications and Experience needed:
- Minimum of four (4) CXC certificates including Mathematics, Food and Nutrition and English.
- Minimum of one (1) years’ experience in a similar position or in the Culinary Industry.
- Proven ability in the preparation of vegetables, hot and cold meals, baked goods and specialties.
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, (Word, Excel and Outlook)
- Knowledge of food safety management, occupational hazards, safety rules and HACCP would be an asset.
- Valid Police Certificate of Character
