Job Purpose: You are responsible for the financial aspect business side of the restaurant. You must be performance-oriented and driven with in-depth understanding of budgets, payroll and financial planning. You will be involved in maintaining the business’s revenue and profitability goals.

You will oversee the Office Managers at each location.

To be successful in this role, you’ll need effectively interact with the management of the branches and the Board of Directors.

Major Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

• Use the highest standards and practices to ensure financial documents comply with the law
• Collect and verify financial information
• Direct other employees and Junior Accountants
• Put together payroll for the company
• Resolve financial problems, performing audits, and analyzing profit loss
• Prepare financial statements, produce accounting reports, and check them for accuracy
• Increase company revenues and boost profits Supervisory Duties
• Data processing
• Credit control
• The preparation of Financial Statements and other required reports on a timely and accurate basis
• Regularly reviewing performance indicators with sales
• Effectively manage and monitor QuickBooks ensuring it is updated and accurate
• Any other task as may be assigned from time to time

Qualification Standards:

• Accounting Degree or ACCA Level II accreditation with financial management skills
• Leadership skills
• Excellent computer skills and a familiarity with restaurant management and accounting software: Aloha, M.S. Office, QuickBooks
• At least two years’ experience in a similar capacity
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
