Senior Supply Chain Manager, ANSA McAL Ltd.

Job Summary: 

The position will be responsible for the design, planning, execution, control, and monitoring of supply chain activities with the objective of creating net value, building a competitive infrastructure, leveraging worldwide logistics, synchronizing supply with demand, and measuring performance globally. Also ensure that all common or specialized requested goods and services for all Group Companies, Head Office and third-party customers are procured per the Group’s purchasing policies.

 Job Description:

• Create e-tenders, Reverse Auctions, pre-qualification of suppliers for subsidiaries that share common goods / services or that require specialized goods on their behalf.
• Manage Head Office. Procurement per Group policy.
• Deliver cost savings for the Group via procurement strategies and negotiations with suppliers.
• Support Group Supply Chain Sector MDs with annual corporate planning.
• Develop, implement, and maintain budgetary and resource allocation plans.
• Develop and continuously monitor Group policies, and procedures for Procurement and Tendering.
• Create and manage Group contracts in consultation with Group Legal.
• Engage in negotiations along with ANSA US and other subsidiaries for the group’s International and local contracts and formulate terms with suppliers.
• Develop effective business intelligence strategies and analytics solutions for Group Supply Chain and its customers.
• Oversee analytics projects to extract, manage, and analyze customer data from multiple applications, ensuring that deadlines are met.
• Communicate and track key performance metrics across departments.
• Generate reports of findings and present these to senior management.
• Keep abreast of industry best practices and policies.
• Conduct audits and create an auditable filing system (online and physical) to ensure the department’s Procurement is aligned to policy.
• Provide coaching, guidance, and direction to subordinate staff as needed to ensure they meet established objectives.
• Performs any other related duties, as required by the Head of Group Supply Chain Services.

Education and Experience Requirements:

• MBA Supply Chain, Logistics, Procurement will be an asset.
• BSc. Degree in Management / Industrial Engineering or related field.
• A Professional Diploma (Level 5) from the Chartered Institute of Purchasing & Supply will be an asset.
• At least five years’ managerial experience in Procurement / Supply Chain / Logistics or a similar role.
• Advance negotiation skills.
• Advance Microsoft Office suite skills including PowerBI.
• Proficient in business intelligence tools, software, and dashboards.
• Fluency in Spanish would be an asset.
• Excellent verbal and written skills.
